Probably. I’d try it just to understand why folks enjoy it. I’d grab it during the steam sale; otherwise, I wouldn’t have gotten it. It’s really enjoyable, similar to other games, as long as you have someone to play with. You can expect a lot of yelling. The community mainly includes people talking about things like Bush’s 9/11 comments and Allah Akbar.
It isn't a great first-person shooter. I'd prefer games like Tribes. I enjoy fast-paced shooters, while CSGO feels much too slow. Most of the time it's just background chatter. About half the experience involves people talking.
I saw that CSGO has a large player base, so I thought about joining, but others warned me my ping might be too high for a smooth experience.
