I just increased $5 on my Steam account and tried purchasing something from the community market, but it told me my account isn’t permitted for that. It asked me to verify my credit card, even though everything looked good the previous day.

Markets in the neighborhood are safe from fraudsters. Steam needs you to invest at least $5 and enable two-factor authentication.
