According to what I understand, a hard fault refers to the situation where a required page isn’t found in main memory, regardless of whether it was stored in virtual memory at the time. This shouldn’t necessarily signal any memory issues on its own. Nice observation. Perhaps the user should test disabling the Windows Update service temporarily and observe any changes in memory usage.

It seems the Windows Update feature has been causing issues for a while. On the first boot, it takes up a lot of memory and either disappears after a while or comes back when you restart. I’ve turned it off now, hoping it gets resolved.

Today the site saw a lot of traffic and my computer started lagging. I disabled updates everywhere, but it kept happening.

I just finished it and the RAM usage stayed the same. It's at 88% when idle. What's going on?
