Your hot spot isn't getting too hot while the core runs at 70 degrees. That's a big gap that usually means there are thermal coupling problems and it probably needs repasting. I'm not saying this causes your problem, but your card is definitely struggling right now.

Hey new guy! What's up? 1| A driver problem 2| Your computer system is corrupted 3| The GPU is getting too hot 4| A mismatch between your refresh rate and the drivers/software/monitor/GPU I recently bought a new CPU, motherboard, and RAM for my 64 GB 9950x3d build. Did you reinstall Windows after switching hardware? Check if the BIOS version matches yours on the board. I also have two systems running at once (Windows). I tested different driver versions—576.15 is the latest and 560.70 is the oldest. Maybe try using DDU to wipe all GPU drivers in Safe Mode, then reinstall them manually with version 566.36 by right-clicking the installer and choosing Run as Administrator to see if things get better. For Windows, grab a spare hard drive, put one copy of Windows on it offline, install all necessary drivers, and check if the problem is still there. Dual-boot setups often make weird surprises happen sometimes.

Not right away, but I've already done a full Windows reinstall recently just to be safe. I'm using version 3.20, which is the newest one available. Let's give it a try and see if that solves the problem. Not sure if this could cause any other issues, but yes, my Windows is completely on a separate 1TB SSD while my main Linux drive is somewhere else. I think they share the same EFI partitions, though not sure if that might hurt things. I'm kind of curious if it's related to my motherboard too, since this exact problem also happens with my older graphics card? Current problems with an ASRock board and a 9800X3D processor aside, I wonder if, even after reseating the cards many times, my PCIe slot might be damaged?
