For most users, a B550 motherboard works well. If you want top performance, go with a Ryzen 5600X for gaming, or a 5800X for varied tasks.

I've upgraded to a new system now—RX 480 with 8GB RAM, Ryzen 3 3200G, and 16GB DDR4. It's running much smoother. With an i5 6500, I was getting around 60 FPS in Cyberpunk 2077 on city mode, and everything feels stable. Thanks for all the advice!
