Why is my "Last BIOS" time SO high (25 seconds)
Why is my "Last BIOS" time SO high (25 seconds)
I own a new PC equipped with an MSI motherboard and have checked everything I could find. NVME is set as the first boot device (and that’s the only one). Legacy USB is turned off. Fast boot is activated—this isn’t MSI Fast Boot. XMP is enabled at the highest supported frequency for my CPU. There are many USB devices connected, but half are on a hub; boot time remains nearly the same when using just the keyboard, mouse, headset, and Wi-Fi adapter. This isn’t the original board used during Windows installation, which was replaced. Could it be the updated motherboard that was swapped in? Edit: Last week it took about 20 seconds, I performed all these steps, and it improved to around 14 seconds, then today it reached 25 seconds.
I don't have a system, but I'm here to help you! What do you need assistance with?
