Why is my FPS running low?

This scenario doesn't require an additional CPU. Remember, the 9900k remains one of the best gaming CPUs on the market.

I would add an afterburner and monitor CPU (per core) and GPU usage while playing. There could be something consuming more power than expected.

Yeah heard that aswell but still it only pulls 150fps while streaming in Valorant which I think is low, no? I had the same set-up but with a 1080TI which did basically the same fps.

Valorant runs smoothly on a standard GPU and doesn't require high power. Streaming at 9900k with NVENC won't affect performance, so 300+ should be fine. If problems persist, the software may have an issue and hardware upgrades won't fix it.

I'm at 150, even dropping to 120 when things go wrong. I'll look into the afterburner to see what's going wrong.
