Hey, I'm trying to overclock my CPU but it keeps crashing or showing BSOD in YCruncher. The board is a Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Wifix7 Pro, running an i9-14900K with a Lian li II cooler. I'm using settings like 57 P cores, 44 E cores, and a few turbo tweaks. No matter what I adjust, it's unstable—even at 55-56 MHz.

These chips operate near their maximum capacity out of the box. Ycruncher is a particular workload that displays instability on many older systems (good), even though the real-world scenario is much less intense. Be extremely cautious—do not overload it at all, as this can quickly damage 13th and 14th generation processors. When testing, you can easily circumvent the restrictions without realizing it.

I don’t have enough info to recommend a specific LLC type. Could you share more about your goals and requirements?

Your components are running at 253W, which should be adequate.

It would be helpful to cool the CPU further. I've tried and the temperatures have improved significantly.

Varies by motherboard, but usually the 2nd or 3rd lowest choices work best. Other options don't make sense since they cause excessive voltage spikes or drops.
