I haven't used it since the beta, yet I never faced any issues. Tested it on ultra with my 670 (around 1242 MHz) and a 3570k at 4.2 GHz. It consistently delivered smooth frame rates; I don’t recall exact numbers, but it was fast and stable.

A workaround has been developed for the 60fps limit since the beta. It takes about two seconds to find and apply it. To fix this, turn on V-Sync in the game settings, then set the Titanfall profile in the Nvidia control panel to disable V-Sync. The in-game settings will be replaced by the panel settings, removing the 60fps restriction. After that, Titanfall runs smoothly. If you're still experiencing problems, it's likely related to your system configuration. I've never faced performance issues with the game before—no stuttering or frame drops.

I searched for a solution but didn’t locate one. Thank you for sharing the details. Regarding my system, that shouldn’t be an issue. All other games function normally except Titanfall. It seems optimization might be the problem, as others have reported similar concerns.

No, if it was an optimization issue than I would have issues as well. When a small minority of players is affected, the fault is with those players' systems, not the game. Outdated drivers, a corrupted install, the possibilities are almost endless, but the fault is not with the actual game. Blaming optimization is the excuse ignorant people like to toss around when they don't feel like taking the time to actually identify the problem. Titanfall does not require anything close to top end hardware in order to run smoothly, so optimization is not the issue. Edit: H ere's proof that Titanfall itself suffers from no performance or optimization issues . All settings are maxed except Texture Resolution which is on Very High, with x4 AA and x8 AF. If the quality looks a little off it's because my monitor is only 1680x1050 but I record at 1920x1080. It looks better than 720, which is what youtube downscales to if I upload at 1050.

Optimization needs to cover every hardware possibility. It’s not the same as consoles that are tuned for a single platform. That’s why certain titles perform better on Nvidia systems versus AMD, and even within those groups. For example, one game may run smoothly on an Nvidia setup while still functioning at its intended settings on an R9 280. This process is far more intricate than it seems. No developer has managed to make a game work flawlessly across all hardware. There are even minor variations. I’ve experimented with reinstalling, updating drivers, checking components, resetting clock speeds, adjusting GPU voltage, under-clocking, and testing memory. The issue continues, and many others face the same problem. Claiming the game works well for you means it’s just your machine—ignoring other users’ experiences is shortsighted. Some of my Steam friends also struggle with Titanfall on different systems, all trying various fixes without success. If there’s a special setting or action that instantly improves performance, let me know. As it is now, none of my attempts have solved the problem.

The game runs smoothly at 60Hz, but performance remains excellent on my 760.

I grasp the concept of optimization well, and since our two systems are quite similar, it should perform just as well on your machine. Your GPU matches the exact chip mine uses, though some cores are turned off. There’s no hardware or software gap between our GPUs that would affect optimization for you. Titanfall’s problems are entirely the responsibility of the system owner. It functions flawlessly for millions, which wouldn’t happen if it were an optimization issue. This isn’t the case with Watch Dogs, where performance varies widely. The only real optimization limitation was missing SLI and Crossfire support at launch—this has been resolved long ago.

It works well for me. 70-80 frames per second most of the time on ultra with double MSAA at 1080p using a GTX 760.
