I observed that my laptop slows down significantly when using battery power, something I hadn't experienced before. It also slows down while watching media. I discovered the issue might be related to the BD prototype being triggered when unplugged, even at temperatures around 50°C. Is this a sign of a faulty battery or simply normal aging?

Thanks for the update!
It's not that old, I actually bought it in March 2020.
Model: Lenovo Y540
CPU: i7 9750H
GPU: GTX 1650
RAM: 24GB
I use it frequently but always plugged it in. The battery status shows "very good."
