when the Android game starts using its normal settings, it checks for a file update list. Then the download begins but keeps failing about two-thirds of the way through. Honestly, I didn't expect this at all. My mistake was connecting my device straight to the ISP WiFi instead of my router's WiFi, and everything worked fine then. This isn't the problem because the same thing happens when I run the Android emulator on a Windows PC with a wired Ethernet connection. I've been using this dd-wrt on Netgear R6300V2 for years and only made a few simple changes to the default settings every time, so I don't know much about advanced stuff. Any ideas? Just note that this is only happening with one game, which is the only game I have that uses in-app updating like this.
