The A320 motherboards are not compatible with CPU overclocking.
I'm glad you're considering this. It really depends on your specific needs and what you're planning to do with your system.
the game is consistently lagging behind the base clock, and i'm pretty confident my cpu is limiting performance while trying to play fallout 4 on ultra.
It is operating at the base clock shown in the image provided (with minor fluctuations around 100 MHz, which is typical).
If you suspect a CPU bottleneck, consider these steps:
- Check maximum CPU usage while gaming on any single core; near 100% suggests an issue.
- Experiment with reducing resolution; lack of significant FPS improvement may indicate a CPU constraint.
How much RAM do you possess and what is its speed?
i have an 8g ram, a ryanz 3 1200 cpu, and a gtx 1050ti. i see around 38-60fps in fallout 4. my wife has a similar setup with a better cpu and she gets 60-90fps.
