I might purchase this
Asus 550W SMPS since it comes with a six-year warranty, is close to a service center, and the internal components appear to be well-made.
Nevertheless, the detailed product description states:
Batteries ‎: 1 A batteries required.
Are Batteries Included ‎: No
Number of Lithium Ion Cells ‎: 7
Number of Lithium Metal Cells: ‎7
It seems there might be an error here. Besides that, they clearly demonstrated a lot of care and attention to detail during the presentation.

You/the listing on Amazon must be confused, there's absolutely no need for a battery for the power supply.

The technical details there are inaccurate.
The information on Amazon (US) does not mention a battery.
The specifications from Asus do not reference the battery.
There is a noticeable difference in weight between the Amazon.in listing and the Amazon(US) version (1kg vs 1.88kg).

Maybe there was an unusual issue with the PSU that isn't typical, but I came across a review on that site.
