Why do YOU play CoD AW?
CoD AW is currently hosting a freeplay weekend. I decided to give it a try after years of avoiding the series. My first match was all about fine-tuning sensitivity and controls. I realized you can't completely disable mouse acceleration without forcing it to run at 175hz, which isn’t comfortable for me. Everything else seemed fine, though. In my second match, I played on an unfamiliar map with no prior experience. I faced three players at a high level. I used the standard gun with perks and no extra attachments. It was surprisingly simple. Coming from CS, I usually play at a double AK level. The gameplay felt very unchallenging, with lots of quick rewards like medals after each kill. Maybe my long gaming sessions have made me desensitized. Still, the shooter was incredibly easy to beat. I wonder why people would stick around for extended play sessions.
It's not necessary to spend a lot of time to enjoy COD, since there are plenty of ways to improve and compete. The ranking system and random loot from supply drops make it rewarding. I haven't played CS GO because it would require a significant time investment to be competitive. Usually, you face easier opponents, as rank doesn't accurately reflect skill.
Since I don’t have Titanfall on my Xbox 360 (my current laptop can’t handle Titanfall or Cod AW, so there’s no option), everyone, choose Titanfall instead of Cod AW.
It really depends. Doing demolition in a competitive way requires careful strategy. This was noticeable on COD4 and MW2.
