Many dislike Norton because of past issues and a lack of modern features. People often prefer newer antivirus solutions that offer better protection and user-friendly tools. Programs like AVG and Avast typically provide stronger malware detection, regular updates, and more comprehensive security features compared to older brands such as Norton.

I haven't heard much about it, and I don't use it because it's expensive.

I adore Norton but don't accept average—often they deliver malware and spam.

It performs similar functions to free antivirus software but tends to be quite bothersome, often pushing users to purchase it repeatedly.

It's similar to cancer—removing it requires specialized tools. It consumes your CPU just like a benchmark, and it doesn't offer any advantages over lighter, free options. Plus, it's extremely bloated. On the other side, the business solution works well.

It isn't the top choice and doesn't cover everything (what my friends say). MWB with BitDefender is more affordable and effective. Plus, if someone needs it, G2A offers Norton 360 for 180 days at $2-3. I really trust BitDefender and MWB.

Norton has never sent pop-ups urging purchases. Actually, I’m currently using the free version of Avast and it displays pop-ups I didn’t request, such as promoting their VPN service. Unless you opt for the free version? It’s ironic that I’m also using Avast’s free edition. Still, I haven’t encountered any bothersome features with Norton. Although Norton 360 encrypted my SSD for a year on my now-defective laptop, using its tune-up tool without informing me.

It seems Norton remains a standalone application. I don’t see it interfering with my browser—I’m using Firefox and DuckDuckGo. You can remove it via the control panel. Do you mean it doesn’t fully delete Norton? Yes, it does for me.

It requires payment, consumes processing power, generates numerous inaccurate readings, and performs no better than other free antivirus solutions like AVG. Why buy something that doesn’t improve over free options? Malwarebytes focuses on malware, not viruses.
