I’ll definitely check it out, thanks for the material.
The pictures are now public... but if you’d like to take a look and spot anything interesting, I’ve shared them on Imgur too:

Checked the meanings of those terms and discovered the details. The i9-13900K is considered one of the hottest chips ever produced, and it’s hard to avoid dealing with thermal throttling. Intel built it to operate efficiently at temperatures between 95-100°C continuously. I also reviewed the BIOS screens, but nothing obvious came up. Since overclocking from BIOS isn’t my preference, I don’t have the expertise to fine-tune the 13900K via BIOS settings. I’ll consider asking someone more experienced about this model.
So, I checked with others and gathered some details on what to try. In your BIOS, there should be an option to turn on or off "Legacy Gaming." Try toggling it to see if that makes a difference. Also, there are reports suggesting that i913900K with an RTX 4090 might experience "out of memory" issues. At this stage, I’m not sure if the problem is tied to that specific CPU-GPU setup or if the CPU itself is the issue. I also don’t understand why it would occur. As for fixing it, replacing the CPU seems necessary. Instead of another i9-13900K, consider using a lower-end CPU like i7-13700K or i5-13600K. These would likely perform better thermally, and while real-world results might be similar, benchmarks could highlight the difference.
I also discovered the description while doing some research. What confuses me is why optimization, which uses less voltage and power, leads to problems with bf2042, while spec enhancement, which increases voltage and power, resolves my issue. I haven't faced any issues with bf2042 after that change. It's wild! I'll just keep running it this way for now. My PC will keep me warm during the winter. Thanks for trying to help man.
