Why did I get laggy on my new graphics card?
I recently bought a new graphics card called an RTX3060 from Zotac. Before that, I used a 1050ti from Zotac. Now, when playing games like GTAV and Euro Truck Simulator 2 at 60 fps, the screen shakes way too much or stutters really badly. Here is my computer setup: it has an Intel i5 9400f processor, an RTX 3060 card from Gigabyte, a motherboard named H310m ds2 with 8gb of RAM running at 2666 mhz, and a power supply unit called Antec VP550w.
Have you updated your NVIDIA drivers? If so, maybe try uninstalling them and reinstalling fresh just to be safe (here is how DDU works). It could also happen that your CPU isn't powerful enough for your GPU's raw power, but handle those first two ideas before thinking about fixing this.
I really suggest following what Newtonius advised. It seems crazy that nobody has made it a rule yet! Then check your Windows power options and turn on Nvidia's Control Panel power settings to high performance. The balanced setting is often known to cause frame lagging and small stuttering moments.
