Hello everyone! I’m trying to optimize my PC and want everything to be top-notch. I learned that tweaking RAM settings like CL, TRCD, etc., can make a difference. However, I’m facing a problem with the TRAS value not matching the expected data. I’ve managed to get the other values correct, but the TRAS numbers are still off. My RAM is 40-52-52-134, which is a G-Skill DDR5-8400 24GB. Do you have any advice or should I stick with what my GIGABYTES X870e AI top offers? Previously, it was set to 40-42-42-90, but my BIOS limits it to 127 for some reason.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
Looking for a DDR5-8400 24gb RAM kit?
Do you have a link to this setup?
My GIGABYTES x870e
For reference, which board would be best from this list?
https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/All...=3065,3066
Let me know!
My BIOS doesn’t support higher speeds than 127.
What BIOS version are you using for your motherboard?
Which processor have you connected with your board and RAM?

Display images of CPU-Z memory and speed sections, BIOS DRAM latency configurations. (Upload to imgur.com and share the link)
Turning on EXPO/A-XMP will adjust the necessary values automatically.
If EXPO isn’t functioning, why are you entering DRAM settings yourself?

Are all components functioning properly with the reduced clock speeds? If yes, keep them as is; otherwise, if your RAM can handle 8400MTs with these lower settings, that would be even better. Adjusting your RAM timings from 40-42-42-90 to 40-52-52-134 might actually hinder performance.
