Why aren't those upcoming Snapdragon X Elite laptops featuring bigger, higher resolution screens?
Hello, reviewed several manufacturers but couldn't locate any laptops featuring the new CPU paired with a high-resolution screen exceeding 16 inches. For instance, Dell's top model offers up to 14 inches at QHD+, whereas Lenovo's highest is 14.5 inches at 3K resolution only. The absence of 16-18 inch options at 4K isn't surprising. Also, the Snapdragon X Elite seems limited in supporting such high-resolution displays.
There are limited choices available; the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge with SD X Elite CPU is offered in 14" and 16" sizes, featuring specifications detailed here: https://www.samsung.com/uk/computer...oo...xmb-kb1uk/. The Asus Vivobook S15 comes with a 15.6" display and also runs the same SD X Elite CPU. For more options, see: https://videocardz.com/newz/qualcomm-ann...us-laptops. It's worth noting that none of these laptops are designed for gaming, so they lack a dedicated GPU. However, higher resolution typically means increased battery consumption, resulting in shorter usage time and less charge overall. This is something manufacturers tend to avoid.
