Why are steam prices overpriced?
I rarely receive a non-functional Steam key. G2A provides a guarantee to ensure the keys are verified automatically. I’m aware of this because I’ve sold keys through G2A myself.
Steam isn't necessarily too expensive, but their deals last only a short period before they return to regular pricing. On G2A, many keys are purchased in large quantities during discounts, bundle offers, or special promotions. Prices are slightly increased then resold. This approach is efficient and allows for solid profits. It's helpful to obtain games at sale prices if you might miss them on Steam. Most of the GTA 5 keys came from the shark card bundle, which later dropped for around $30. While it's better to buy directly from Steam for support and peace of mind, the convenience is valuable. There are costs involved, but the ease of access makes it worthwhile. Everyone pays a price, though sometimes less so. I haven't encountered any problems with G2A yet, and I've bought most of my games through them. I usually struggle to find good deals on Steam, often paying more for a game only to get it back at a lower price later.
G2A, yeah, I won’t buy from them at all. It’s super suspicious and I’m curious about how many keys are being sold through fake credit cards. Even if it works, it gets blocked after a while because it’s a scammed key. G2A doesn’t help with this situation, and honestly, the site pushes a real crime. Credit card theft is a serious offense, and trying to make quick money in this way is highly unethical.
If revoking keys were widespread, g2a would face a huge online backlash (though this isn't happening). Many keys also originate from other places like lower regional rates or bundled offers. From an ethical standpoint, it's reasonable to avoid this issue.
Right, just because you don't see any "shitstorm" doesnt mean it isnt happening. https://www.reddit.com/r/gaming/comments..._websites/ https://www.steamgifts.com/discussion/VG...isappeared https://steamcommunity.com/app/427920/di...740015724/
And if it was a common problem, you'd expect more than just isolated discussions where a few users face difficulties... unless you also want to complain about most hardware failures because you encounter occasional products that stop working completely. Every purchase comes with some issues. It's usually when large-scale problems appear that things really go wrong.
