I'm attempting to enjoy games similar to Paladins & Realm Royale on Steam. I recently upgraded my PC, which now features an i5-11400f with 1660s 8GB RAM.

I've taken several steps to resolve the problem:
- Fixed EAC settings,
- Turned off Discord and GeForce Experience overlays,
- Updated drivers and all system updates,
- Experimented with launch options like -fullscreen, -windowed, -safemode & -Dx9-use64,
- Disabled security features such as firewall and Norton,
- Ran the game as an administrator,
- Checked file integrity and reinstalled the game multiple times,
- Also tried launching the game without Discord running.

Additionally, I launched Apex from Steam (which also uses Easy Anti-Cheat) and it worked perfectly. I downloaded Paladins but it failed to load, likely due to an app issue on the new PC. The same happened with Realm Royale, which is also developed by Hi-Rez and uses Easy Anti-Cheat. I attempted a fresh installation without preinstalled software, but it still didn't work. I've sought advice from Reddit threads about Realm Royale and Discord, but no one seems to have encountered the same issue. It's puzzling since I believe the problem might be unrelated to any app on my system. Anyone have suggestions?

I checked the event viewer and didn't find any mention of Realm Royale or related errors. There doesn't appear to be an error log showing this issue. It might be an app-related problem that's hard to diagnose.

Thread is a bit outdated, but the fix is straightforward.
1. Go to the specified folder: <Steam Directory>\steamapps\common\Paladins\Binaries\EasyAntiCheat\Launcher
Edit the Settings64.json (use a text editor like Notepad)
Modify 'Win64\\Paladins.exe' to 'Win32\\Paladins.exe'
Save the changes and try launching the game.
I’d love to understand why I haven’t discovered this earlier.
