I’m experiencing difficulty maintaining consistent frame rates when playing games, including Fortnite. Even with my monitor—a BENQ XL2411p at 144Hz—and an increased RAM amount of 16GB, I struggle to achieve stable performance. Specifically in Fortnite, my frames fluctuate significantly, dropping consistently when set at 144Hz with medium settings and reduced shadows and visual enhancements. My system specifications include an i7-4790k processor running at 4.0 GHz, HyperX 16GB RAM at 1866 MHz, an EVGA GTX 1080 graphics card, a HyperX 250GB SSD, and an additional Samsung Evo 500GB SSD. Frame rates fluctuate unpredictably—that’s simply how it works.
Could you tell me what speed your memory is running at?

My memory consumption is approximately between 35 and 45 percent, but I’m suggesting that even when I remain stationary in a game, the visuals shift rapidly regardless of whether I’m engaged in creative mode on an empty Fortnite map.
