I have a pre-built HP Pavilion Gaming PC. The specifications are GTX 1650 Super, Ryzen 5 3500, and 16GB RAM. I haven’t used it much lately, but before I had around 180-240 FPS for games like Fortnite and GTA. Now, when I try to play a game, the FPS drops to 100 and below. I’m not sure what to do. I unplugged all the components and rebuilt them, but I’m still wondering why the FPS drops so much. I hope someone can help me figure this out.

Make sure to verify if any components are overheating, especially the CPU and GPU, as this can lead to significant performance issues. Download MSI Afterburner, and here are two helpful tutorials on its usage and configuration. Load a demanding game and observe the temperatures; if both CPU and GPU exceed 90°C, it indicates a problem. Proceed once the issue is addressed.
