Who uses Google Plus/Hangouts? Why/why not?

I don’t personally use Google Plus or Hangouts. I don’t enjoy them. I just use them occasionally, mainly to annoy @ Victor Yiu.

Yep. It's not iMessage. Still, it's much clearer if they've seen your message compared to just sending another text.

I rely on Google Hangout for chats, though I'm unsure if it's recognized. On my computer, I don't use it at all.

At thekeemo, Hangouts works through Google Chat now. I prefer Hangouts for its multi-device support, but I’ve noticed G+ sometimes shuts down.

I prefer Hangouts over Skype when possible. I also rely heavily on Gmail, to the extent it makes sense to treat it like a messaging app.
