It's a solid overclocker, though the outdated HP motherboard BIOS is surprisingly restrictive—just swapping the boot sequence helps a bit.
Not sure about it, haven’t installed it yet because Uplay is bothersome and keeps asking for the whole game again instead of letting me copy files from a drive like Steam or Origin. I think you’ll be able to run it at full performance, around 60fps, especially if you stick to 900p. My 970 handles most games fine except for the modded Skyrim, Crysis 3, and Metro titles. Newer titles will be tougher, but I still have a lot of games waiting to play, so it’ll take a while before I even think about buying them. To be honest, the game doesn’t really catch my interest, so I probably won’t play it. Instead, my brother got the download code from my 970, and he seemed to enjoy it—there’s rumors of an expansion coming soon, likely with paid DLC.
The crew is using a fairly old engine, and I'm experiencing around 60 FPS at 5K resolution with 1440P settings.
I tested The Crew on a 8320 with 270X at high settings and 1680x1050 resolution. It seems the 560 Ti will work well if you lower settings in the city and raise them in the desert or forest. Generally, you'll see better FPS in the desert or forest areas compared to urban environments.
