I've noticed a white VGA indicator on my ASUS TUF Gaming B650-E WIFI board during setup, but the system runs smoothly otherwise. It only appears after a long idle period—usually after waking up from sleep—and disappears once I restart. The light reappears the next day. Anyone know what might be causing this? My GPU is the ASUS RTX 4070 TI Super Dual OC Edition.

Seems like a strange bios issue or something. Override and keep going.

I conducted further research and identified the issue. The monitor's input source is automatically set, and the default input is the dp port connected to my laptop. When I powered on the computer for the first time, it took some time for the auto source to switch to the dp connected to my PC. This delay led to the motherboard diagnostics reporting a VGA error because it couldn't detect a display at startup. Restarting resolved the problem since the auto source had already switched to the PC's dp.
