I was using Steam for about 20 minutes when I left four players on the game. My screen went blank and white, and there was a strange sound like rrrrrrrrr. I’ve never seen this before—only the blue screen. It’s confusing, can you help me fix this? My PC is Windows 10 Pro with an i7 processor, 4790k, 16GB DDR3, dual-channel, 1866 MHz. I have an ASUS Z97 Pro Gamer GTX 750 Ti, 2GB RAM, and it’s freezing.

Occasionally games may freeze or crash, it does occur. Just restart your system and keep playing. If this keeps happening frequently, there might be an issue... If it only happens occasionally, it's fine. It happened to me two days ago while playing Hell Let Loose on newer hardware. Computers are designed that way.

this happens because of outdated software and hardware limitations. your old system struggles with modern apps and updates, leading to crashes or instability.

Occasionally it occurs, though uncommon. As he mentioned, attempt a reset of your device and try once more. My system has gone through this before, and I simply restarted my PC, which worked out fine.
