White noise using the Logitech Pro X Wireless Headset?
I own the headset you mentioned. My drivers are all current, but I’m struggling with the persistent white noise. Is there any possible solution? I haven’t found any recent discussions online except those from years past—there definitely should be a fix, right? Of course, if you need specifications, I’m prepared to share them. I’m new to this. Sorry.
Assume you are using them wirelessly through the dongle.
1) Ensure the dongle isn't close to anything that could block the wireless signal.
2) Connect the dongle to another USB port.
3) Use the headset on a different PC or gaming system if possible, to see if the problem persists with the headset or the system.
It looks like the actual headset is connected or not, and as soon as I power it on, the white noise appears. It’s disappointing for a $200+ headset, especially since I haven’t seen this problem in any wired headsets before. It makes me wonder if the second version of this headset would have the same problem. The only other device that sends or receives signals is my Wi-Fi adapter, which I installed on the motherboard. Part of me doubts this is the cause, so maybe I should experiment with it.
The wifi channels might be overlapping. Adjust the channel on your adapter and check if the issue resolves.
This reminded me of the possibility of a WIFI adapter being installed and causing interference. To adjust the channels on your router, you'd need to know how to log in and modify it, unless it's directly connected to your ISP, which could make the process more challenging.
Oh, that's quite a situation. It seems I'm stuck in a military setting and can't finish this task 😶
