Hey everyone, how are you? A few weeks back my computer would restart during startup and display various boot options. I decided to try a fresh install, so I made a bootable USB with Windows 11. The issue is that whenever I attempt to boot from it, the Windows logo appears, freezes for 10 to 20 seconds, shows a boot menu, and then restarts. The USB is fully functional since I've used it on another person's laptop before. It's still an old machine, but so far I haven't encountered any problems. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Put a copy of memtest86 on a flash stick, boot it up, and ensure no errors occur.

When using the USB 3 port, try USB 2.0. Some older devices work well with this setup by installing Windows plus USB 2.0 input.

I'll do it as soon as I get home and share the results. I clean it occasionally, but it still gave me this error even after cleaning again; I tried booting with just one RAM stick and nothing worked yet.

I don't believe I switched the USB ports, but I'll try and respond as soon as possible.

Hey guys what'up? Sorry about the delay to reply. Anyways, memtest86 returned no errors and I've tried all usb ports without luck. I did found out that neither my mobo or processor have support to Win 11, which was what i was trying to install, it was never going to work in the first place.
So, I've performed a diskpart and switched my HDD to GBR, and created a bootable usb with Win10 this time.
Fired it up with UEFI and it worked. When it began installing the files it rebooted itself again. I'm thinking it's a hardware problem, I've tried with one of the two RAM sticks, unplugged my video card, and no luck so far. I've checked the voltages are Ok and no overheating is going on.

Hey guys! I'm not sure anybody will see this but I'm still having the same problem so I thought I should post an update from what I've tried so far.
So, I ran memtest86 and gave me no errors, I tried switching usb ports without luck, I unplugged everything that wasn't absolutely necessary for it to boot up and no luck.
I've tried it with one ram stick, switching ports and nothing.
I bought an SSD since I thought it could be my old HDD and nothing again.
So I read somewhere that it could be that, since the voltages are set to auto in my bios, it could be feeding less than the minimum voltages which would cause it not to boot up. I turned the voltages up a litte bit and it worked!!! I managed to install windows 10 and went so far as to downloading google chrome and some drivers. And then it gave me a BSOD and went back to not booting up.
I've noticed that, with voltages up a little, my cpu was overheating very quickly, so now I'm thinking it could be my cooler malfunctioning and not doing it's job correctly.
Any thoughts will be much appreciated, sorry for the gigantic text.
Thx in advance!
