I understand that Merc is superior to Quicksilver and SWFT, but I've discovered another option named Quicksilver. Also, i'm curious if using this card on a PCIe 3 port will cause any issues, especially with my MSI MORTAR B660M.

The specifications on the Merc are indeed higher, reflecting the additional costs for the white and magnetic fans. Regarding your PCIe 3 port question, it’s important to confirm compatibility with your setup. The board you mentioned is correct; it supports PCIe 4.0. If you're using an MSI Mortar B660M, ensure your processor matches the requirements for that motherboard. Clarify whether you're asking about the main PCIe slot or the lower one, and what prevents you from using the first one.

Thank you for your response. I have the same motherboard you linked, and my CPU is an I7 12700. I’m also checking the last port at the bottom of the motherboard. Although I know I have a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot, my Noctua NH-D15 cooler is occupying that port and the area beneath it, leaving me with only the bottom slot. I’m wondering if using the new GPU in that bottom slot will cause any issues or significantly reduce performance.
