Which to buy?
You're considering two motherboards for your Ryzen 3 3300X build. The Asus TUF B450-M Plus offers good value, while the MSI B450 Tomahawk Max provides more features. Other choices include the Asus TUF B450-M Pro Gaming and the MSI B450 Bazooka Max Wi-Fi. Think about your needs—gaming performance, future upgrades, and budget—to make the best decision. Let me know if you need more details! Thanks a ton!
They all come with a price tag, and you're restricted to these options only. The Tomahawk stands out as the top choice, while the B450M Pro Gaming is a refreshed version of the board. The VRM remains unclear, but I'm still trying to figure it out. What's the general cost range?
Consider the updated B450 motherboards. Their bigger BIOS chip provides space for the 4000/5000 series.
Here are some motherboard options from PCPartPicker:
- MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX ATX AM4 - ₹11,599.00
- ASRock B450M PRO4 Micro ATX AM4 - ₹9,299.00
- MSI B550M PRO-VDH WIFI Micro ATX AM4 - ₹13,529.00
All listed prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts.
No, I don't recommend the TUF B450M Pro. It's a different model with its own strengths and weaknesses.
I'm planning to construct it in Singapore since I hit a roadblock there. It seems only the top-tier models come with the latest version by default.
Ah yea the max, it's the same thing. But the pro 4, a pro max (not the matx), pro vdh max, mortar max and the b550m pro vdh are all decent.
