COD:MW (2019) offers a useful native feature for a fullscreen extended window that fits across three monitors effortlessly. This eliminates the need to adjust settings or wait for transitions. I can maintain my current display configuration of three 1080p monitors without conversion. Other PC games have started adopting this capability, and some third-party programs can replicate the same effect in games lacking this option.

the games should work natively, but at times you need to turn it on in drivers by setting the intended mode, something like eyefinity, and nvidia doesn't know.

I can enjoy games using NV surround, but switching from my triple desktop productivity screen to the NV surround gaming screen is quite troublesome.

Setting the profile from "office" to "PC master race extended" will make things much faster. I remember in my driver I can do that and also creating a shortcut to my desktop with just one click to switch my Windows mode. It's very simple in the AMD driver, and I can even make a batch file to save my custom profiles. Nvidia makes it even easier, their drivers are better.

Doesn't something like DisplayFusion address this issue? It keeps the display in NV surround mode and simply adjusts taskbars, eliminating the need to switch from desktop to game with DisplayFusion.

I possess DIsplayFusion and have utilized it before a Windows 10 update added taskbars to extra monitors. The taskbars in DisplayFusion tend to be unstable when compared to the built-in Windows 10 versions, and the program would frequently crash when running numerous windows on a single screen.

Never had a crash while using it, but the taskbars can be problematic at times. I no longer use it because I don't really need it anymore, but I think it's the easiest method to extend games and keep the desktop normal.
