You make it sound as if the gap is massive. At 1920x1080 the difference is average less than 10 frames difference on games with 170 fps. (sekiro and far cry 5 are exceptions) I am all for newer faster stuff, but these recent launches have caused so much pointless bickering. Each side cherry picking benchmarks without looking at the whole picture.
What standards are being tracked? The typical target is a 17-23% boost, which translates to a minimum rise of about 29 FPS when running at 170 FPS. These numbers reflect overall performance rather than just low or high ranges.

They failed to accurately benchmark most of the time. They chose games that don’t strain the CPU for their analysis. About half of the 1080p scores were limited by GPU performance, making the full comparison meaningless. The personal game tests remain valid, but skip the aggregate comparisons.
