Review the guide, as it often lists the recommended order for installation. Motherboards with four slots typically suggest starting with slot two, followed by slot four, and then proceeding to the remaining slots. I’m not sure what happens with dual-slot boards.

Your needs vary greatly based on your tasks. Having two identical RAM modules isn't always required.

Considering the setup, placing it on B2 while A1 is free could lead to a clear allocation of resources.

It should start up immediately and function properly. But the guide suggests using A1 for best results. This port is nearest to the CPU, offering shorter connections and reducing potential problems, which is why they advise it.

With just a single stick, the slot it occupies doesn’t change much. It reads and writes consistently regardless of the tiny gap in electricity across a PCB.
