I'm setting up my first PC for my son. I already have a Ryzen 5 3600 and a Rog Strix B550 motherboard. My next choice is RAM. I’m considering Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro and need to decide between 16GB at 3600MHz or 32GB at 3200MHz. The costs are similar, so I’d appreciate any advice you can offer.

If it's a 16GB 3600 CL16, that’s ideal for gaming.
For a 3600 CL18, it’s still fine but you might prefer the 3200 if you want CL16.
Assuming we're discussing a 1x16GB at 3600 MHz and 2x16GB at 3200 MHz setup, I suggest sticking with the 3600 MHz option initially and expanding later. If the 3600 MHz is actually 2x8GB, it wouldn't be ideal as you'd be restricted to just 32 GB total. Right now, 16GB is considered a typical standard for new builds, so aim for the highest possible capacity.
Also ensure you have a USB drive with the newest BIOS installed. Your motherboard can perform BIOS flashback.
