Hardware Unboxed's clip provides a bit more clarity. The GN video suggests this relates to Zen 3 or AMD specifically, though it actually applies to Intel as well. It wasn't that GN's testing was poor—it was solid—but Long-Hair Steve wasn't as experienced with the situation as Aussie Steve.

Absolutely. I use a dual-rank configuration on my Z77 device, and I noticed comparable improvements on my 3600XT when it was equipped with one. I thought audiences preferred game scores over genuine real-world results that I appreciate equally.
