My current setup is pretty solid without any major changes.
Now, while browsing the internet and playing three games, I’m seeing system shutdowns with a kernel power 41 error. The first game that works is light on resources, but games like Hearts of Iron 4 and World of Warcraft are problematic. The PC runs fine otherwise, but the PSU seems to be the main issue when the GPU tries to draw more power. Heat levels look normal.
I’m considering replacing my PSU and wondering if I should go for a newer ATX 3.1 model or stick with an older 3.0 unit. My options are the Corsair RM1000x (2024) or the NZXT C1200 ATX 3.1, or even a 3.0 model. Any suggestions? They seem similar but just a different number of cables.
