I'm trying to decide between a newer PSU model with RM1000E and an older one from 2021 with RM1000X. I want to know which is more reliable and trustworthy.

Key aspects that highlight the superior quality of RMx include the use of Japanese capacitors instead of those from Taiwan, along with a more effective cooling fan.

In terms of quality, the RMx performs significantly better, whereas the RM1000e operates at ATX3.0, meeting its specifications such as handling high-frequency power spikes up to 200% while the RMx only shuts down at 130%.
