Setting up my initial high-performance gaming rig... I've crafted several standard builds before, but this one is different. I picked the Ryzen 7600X with 32GB (16x2) DDR5 at 6000MHz, paired it with an EVGA FTW 3080ti from a friend in Michigan, and added a 850-watt Thermaltake PSU. I'm seeking advice on choosing a motherboard, keeping in mind the high power draw of the CPU. I've already ruled out entry-level models for this reason. My current options are Asrock HDV/M.2, Gigabyte B650 MK, and MSI B650M-P, all priced at $192. Boards above that start around $250, which feels excessive for such a powerful chipset. I've considered the MSI PRO B650-S Wifi (ATX) and Asrock B650M Pro RS WiFi (mATX), but both are quite similar in price. The MSI model has more USB ports and better VRM design, though its ampere rating isn't clear. The Asrock boards seem more budget-friendly but lack some advanced features. I'm leaning toward Asrock for better value, even if the VRM might need a bit of tweaking for the 7600X. Thanks ahead for your help! Happy holidays!

This model matches the same VRAM and most I/O configurations as the Pro RS. The A620 is best avoided; the B650 can handle an overclocked 7950X smoothly.
