I've been relying on this standard 300Mbps USB Wi-Fi adapter for some time, but it's time for something better suited to networking needs. What Wi-Fi cards do you suggest? I'm new to the concept of Wi-Fi cards and their functionality, so any guidance would be helpful. Which ones are worth investing in and which should I skip? Also, what power supply requirements do these cards have, and which PCI slot should I use?

I previously used an ASUS PCE-N15. Affordable and dependable, offering 300Mbps speed. Power consumption is likely in the single digits—very low. Regarding slots, any can be used as long as it doesn’t conflict with other devices on your motherboard.

Hey there, I was checking out a TP-Link AC1300 and wasn't sure about the speed settings, but the one you recommended seems like a solid, budget-friendly choice. Asus is also a great option. Thanks a lot for your assistance!
