Hello, I understand you're looking to upgrade your PC. Your current specs are 2600x and 2060, and you're considering upgrading to 5600x with either a 2060 or a 3600 with a 3060. It's hard to decide which path to take. Let me know if you'd like more details or guidance!

This question seems unusual. Your username suggests a high performance level, but the options presented are quite different. Are you considering whether to upgrade your CPU to a 5600x while keeping your 2060, or should you opt for a 3600 and swap in a 3060? You're right to think about how graphics card prices affect costs, especially if you're mainly focused on gaming. The 3060 might be more affordable compared to the 5600x, but the 3600 could still handle gaming well unless you're looking for extra performance. Since we don't know your specific needs, it's hard to give a clear recommendation.

Are you seeking the best value for the 3060 model? In today’s market, availability often matters more than price alone since costs fluctuate widely. The 3060 isn’t a premium option, so when is it worth choosing over a 3070? Prices have been unpredictable recently, making it hard to judge accurately. During stable periods, determining the right choice would be simpler. Not knowing your options or the charges from different sellers makes it nearly impossible to decide. A slower card could cost more now, and purchasing by model isn’t reliable. I can only offer general advice. Typically, hot-rolled cards may have lower value retention compared to others, though this isn’t a strict rule. The main challenge is ensuring you meet your performance needs—hot-rolled cards might suffice if you require a baseline, while non-hot models could fall short.

Your old PC is more than fine to be perfectly honest.. A 5600X and an RTX 3060 is a nice upgrade, don't get me wrong, but it's absolutely not worth the price/performance increase in 2021 @Randomgamerwith2600x ..

If you locate them at MSRP or near it, then yes. Otherwise, it’s definitely not worth the boost in performance during 2021.

Please verify again. If it's the MSRP, what are you expecting me to do now? I’m still open to adjusting your PC specs.

The push over the past few months appears to focus on grabbing a GPU first, then dealing with the rest. And if it’s not there yet, it doesn’t matter. A “great spot in line” has disappeared as makers release entire batches just to make a slightly altered card at a significantly higher cost.
