Which of these two power supplies should I select?
Which of these two power supplies should I select?
Hey everyone
I am choosing between two PSUs and would like some advice.
The two options I can buy are:
1)
Antec NE1000G M 1000W ATX 3.1
for about $140
2)
1st Player NGDP 1000W ATX 3.1 Gold
for about $130
On the SPL list, the Antec NE1000G M is rated A tier but only the ATX 3.0 version is listed and I couldn't find proper reviews for the ATX 3.1 model. The 1st Player NGDP is rated A-

Which one would you go with?

For context, we'll need to know the specs to the build you'll be powering with the aforementioned options for your PSU.

And where would this country be? If you included sites for purchase that would showcase what you have access to, perhaps we could suggest other viable options.

Avoiding low prices on PSU isn't my goal. The NE1000G is priced at 17,500৳ and the NGDP at 16,350৳.

If you wanted to verify whether an extra EPS connector is needed, which motherboard would be best? For consistency, either model will work. Both share the same OEM, Helly, and both feature an Antec unit rated A, comparable to the Antec HCG Pro Platinum 1000W, which uses a Seasonic OEM and runs on the Vertex PX platform (ATX3.1).
The Antec HCG Pro Platinum costs twice as much as the NE1000G.
That said, you mentioned this clearly.
In short, you receive what you pay for.
Still, an 850W model should suffice unless you intend to upgrade to an RTX 5090.
Sorry, this wasn't quite what I meant. My budget is about $150, and I’m okay with 850W, just wanting a bit more flexibility. With the choices here, these two power supplies look quite solid for their cost. I’m mainly wondering if there’s a real advantage to picking the Antec NE1000G over the 1STPLAYER NGDP, or if they’re essentially the same, and whether the rating is identical for the ATX 3.1 model of Antec.
