I've heard the MSI B450 mATX isn't great. Maybe try ASRock instead.

What processor are you running? I’d choose either of these based on their additional features and your requirements. Regarding power consumption and temperatures, they both provide enough capacity to handle an 8-core CPU.

This unit is confirmed to be compatible with Ryzen 3000 processors right out of the box. The alternative model may require a BIOS update, though that seems improbable.
