I've set up Windows 7 and am figuring out which mobile driver packages to add. It seems not every chipset or audio driver is necessary. I've already added the chipset and audio drivers. With your PC specs in mind—Intel i5 4570, ASUS H81i Plus, 8 GB RAM, R9 270—I’ll know which ones are required next.

After downloading the drivers from Asus's website, you generally don't need further actions unless there are specific updates required. Everything should update automatically if the installation is successful.

When updates are available, you need to download them unless ASUS provides a specific latest driver detection app (I don’t recall that).

Get them from the site. Install your chipset driver first, before any others. Don’t forget to restart afterward.
