They share comparable prices and features, but one features an HP Ryzen 5-8645HS with a 6GB RTX 3050, while the other has an Acer i5-12450H with a 4GB RTX 3050. I'm uncertain which option is superior. My usual use involves everyday tasks such as playing games alongside music and engaging in Discord conversations. Which processor would perform better in this situation?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
Either one will get your job done, that would mean you choose the more affordable option. Keep in mind, a laptop isn't just made up of a processor and a separate GPU. You're sure to have checked the RAM and storage choices for both, as well as the display options on each?
Sharing the links to both laptops would be really helpful for us.

Both devices come with 16GB RAM, a 512GB SSD (512GB appears more than enough for my needs), an IPS display at 144Hz offering Full HD resolution on a 15.6-inch screen, and a brightness of 300 nits. The links to the laptops are in another language, which is why I decided to write this myself.
