They perform well overall when measured by VRM, but the features vary a lot depending on your needs. The prices seem to differ too.

I'll check the current prices and see what fits your budget. The Strix F models are around 190-200 euros, while the B550 and X570 differences mainly depend on the SLC slot support.

Some x570 boards don’t support SLC, but the key distinction lies in whether the b550 model can use Gen 4 lanes connected to the CPU, whereas the chipset itself is Gen 3, while the x570 offers full Gen 4 capability across the entire board.

Of course, when I look at the x570 motherboard versus the b550, I see gaming performance with the x570 edge compared to the b550 AORUS Pro. AORUS Pro definitely stands out in that regard.

The B550 AORUS Pro offers superior performance, while the X570 gaming advantage falls short.

It's a solid board, not terrible. For the B550, focus on the Tomahawk, Strix F, Steel Legend, Aorus Pro, and Gaming Edge are all decent. With the X570, the Aorus Elite is decent, along with Tomahawk and Tuf; you can compare these options based on their features and decide which fits you best—they're all pretty good.

X570 elite offers just four ports for PWM fans, which is quite limited.

Comparing x570 and x570 tomahawk, both are strong options, but the choice depends on your needs. The x570 offers versatility with its multi-tool features, while the x570 tomahawk focuses more on cutting power. Decide based on what you prioritize—multi-functionality or raw cutting strength.

It's not that way, the tomahawk is superior.
