I'm planning my first gaming PC and faced a decision about the motherboard. My setup includes a Ryzen 5 3600X, either RTX 2060 Super or RTX 2070, 16GB LPX vengeance RAM at 3200mhz, an EVGA 700W power supply, M.2 SSD, a WD 1TB WIFI drive, and a Gigabyte expansion card. I'm considering the ASUS Prime X570 Pro and want to know if it's a suitable choice.

Non-X tends to offer better value, the cooler isn't really worth the extra $10 on airflow. Prime Pro in white is just the TUF version, and TUF includes built-in WiFi. If you don't need much connectivity, the X570-P is still a solid choice.

If you have the budget and intend to overclock, the Strix X570-F is a good choice. I recently purchased that board with a Ryzen 3600 and successfully increased the CPU speed to 4.3ghz with little difficulty.
