Which option do you favor and the reason behind it? I've been using it for several months now.

Previously focused mainly on Debian, now Ubuntu dominates the scene thanks to abundant resources online. I've been using Linux Mint Cinnamon on my secondary machine for about six months, while my server has been running Ubuntu Server for several years. Interestingly, my VPS continues to run Debian.

I currently run Ubuntu Gnome, though I enjoy Fedora. My preferred commands are mostly memorized—like apt-get—and I type them in the terminal by habit. With an extra drive and SATA port on my desktop, I’d try booting both Ubuntu Windows and Fedora. I’ve experimented with various Ubuntu versions over the past two years, starting with Fedora for a short time before returning to Ubuntu on my main system.

Right now I switch between several distros each month, but Windows remains the primary OS. Linux is improving rapidly, yet some drawbacks remain noticeable. I’m hoping to make the full transition by the second half of the year. On my notebook, I’ve been using Mint for more than a year—it functions well and lets me handle basic tasks efficiently.

I usually rely on Linux mainly for server and infrastructure tasks, which means I often choose CentOS.

I’d pick Slackware if I needed Linux again. It’s straightforward and has a solid reputation.
