I'm thinking about purchasing the "GL65 Leopard 10SFSK" with the GTX2070 Super or a PB71RF cleto model. The first has an 17 S FHD 144Hz Gsync N7, RTX 2070/i9-9980HK, TPWFP/TB (2400MHz), Intel 760p 1TB, 2TB ST2000LM015, Intel Wireless-AC 9560. The second features the same specs except for a different GPU model and possibly other details. I don’t know much about cleto laptops or how well these components work together, nor about overheating risks. What advice would you give? Also, I’m curious if the i9-9980HK really makes a big difference over the i7-10750H in terms of performance and heat output. The main change seems to be the GTX2070 versus the GTX2070 Super, but I’m not sure if other specs make up for that. Both are priced similarly—what’s your recommendation?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
The connection for the second laptop isn't functioning properly for me. Assuming the specifications match what's listed, I'd lean toward the MSI model. Would they be priced similarly? Regarding warranty, if both are identical in cost and coverage, you should choose the MSI as it represents a newer generation in terms of processor and technology. The remaining options seem comparable, but you're certain MSI also offers a 144Hz display? There are two MSI variants: one with a 120Hz panel and another with a 144Hz panel.

Hi, thank you!
Yes, both options are priced similarly and offer comparable warranty periods. The choice depends on the specific model you prefer.
For the other laptop, the i-9 performs better in bench tests
https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compa...HK...vsm1053158
and includes a 1TB SSD. It seems quite alike to the first one you mentioned, except it features a GTX2070 rather than the mobile version.
