In my opinion, it's best to steer clear of brands that have been undermining their reputation and customer trust. But since you've analyzed two laptop links, I'd lean toward the Asus option, even though it's pricier.
Why? Because relying on outdated tech like the RXT3000 GPU instead of newer models such as the RTX4000 can lead to support problems down the line.

My budget is 2000 dollars, and I prefer something around 16 inches with 2k resolution. US stores are fine, but I can also use EU shops if needed.

But after reviewing the feedback, it seems the Rtx 4 series is somewhat a scam. It performs very poorly, offering only minor improvements over the 3 series, like the 4070 being just 5% better than the 3070ti. However, the price gap is significant, which matters if you're not using a laptop for daily tasks. For everyday use, I’d prefer something much more reliable.
The RTX 4070 isn't the next model after the RTX 3070 Ti. It's actually the follow-up to the RTX 3070. In terms of cost, it might be more affordable now, as companies are clearing out their inventory. This price shift could happen within a short time.
